A day that was full of smiles, laughs, tears, and goodbyes. Probably the only proper way to describe one very long and emotionally draining day. Waking up early on a sunday morning is never an easy task, even more so when one knows it’s going to be last more than 12 hours. This was such a day indeed, but it was a very good day which will be unforgettable.
Japan Day started fairly easily with a meeting at a dunkin donuts, how can that be any better? After meeting up with a fellow member of the j-rock group and breakfast, it was off to central park to find a sweet spot under a tree to hide from the sun. We had a nice line of view from where we camped and were able to see the performances and long food lines. After loafing for a while we met up with some anime peeps and chilled for the remainder of the event.
After Japan Day I found a place to grab a quick bite to eat before heading to Don Hill’s for the Noirceur CD Release concert. Lots of familiar faces were present and good music was shared, and during the main act a very heart melting moment occurred.
